Renewal FAFSA
If you filed a 2011-2012 FAFSA or Renewal FAFSA the U.S. Department of Education will email you a 2012-2013 reminder sometime between January 17, 2012 and February 10, 2012. This reminder will guide you to file the 2012-2013 Renewal FAFSA electronically on the FAFSA Website.
If you did not provide an email address or the email address that was provided on the 2011-2012 FAFSA rejects the email from FAFSA the U.S. Department of Education will mail you a 2012-2013 FAFSA renewal reminder.
For both the paper and electronic versions of the FAFSA or Renewal FAFSA, please make sure to list WPI's six-digit code (002233) in the school section of the form.
The deadline for our office to receive your processed Renewal FAFSA is April 15, 2012. Because this form can take 4-6 weeks to be processed, we recommend that you electronically file the form by mid-March 2012.
If you do not receive your 2012-2013 PIN email or letter by the end of February 2012, you can visit the FAFSA Filing Options Website that gives you your filing options.
