Students must re-apply for need-based financial aid on an annual basis. WPI Financial Aid Applications for the 2008-2009 academic year were available to be picked up in the WPI Campus Center Lobby in early December 2007.

If you were unable to pick up a form one will be placed in your WPI mail box at the beginning of C term 2008.

The WPI Financial Aid Application includes the following:

  1. WPI Upperclass Financial Aid Application (Yellow Folder)
  2. Checklist of application requirements (Yellow sheet)
  3. Each parent and student will also be required to complete a 2008-2009 FAFSA in order to apply for need-based financial aid. Instructions on how to file the 2008-2009 FAFSA will be included with the WPI Upperclass Application.

In addition to submitting the WPI Financial Aid Application and tax documentation to the WPI Office of Financial Aid, it is each student's responsibility to contact the U.S. Department of Education to file his/her 2008-2009 FAFSA or Renewal FAFSA.

FAFSA

The U.S. Department of Education will be emailing the Renewal FAFSA, PIN (4 digit code number that a student needs to file his/her FAFSA electronically), directly to the student's email address that was provided on the 2007-2008 FAFSA between November, 2007 and December, 2007.  If they can not deliver to that email or if an email was not provided a Renewal FAFSA Pin mailer will be mailed to the home address.

The Renewal FAFSA PIN mailer will be mailed to the address that was reported on the student's 2007-2008 FAFSA.

The CSS PROFILE Application is no longer a requirement for most returning undergraduate students. However, filing this form is required if:
