Financial Aid
Whether you are a first time undergraduate student, a returning upper-class undergraduate student, a transfer student or graduate student, the cost of higher education is an issue for everyone considering college. WPI understands that the cost of a private university education represents a significant investment for WPI students and their families, but it is also one that we believe will bring many benefits and rewards.
Financial Aid at WPI draws on the combined resources of the student, his or her family (if applicable), federal and state government resources and WPI itself. WPI believes that the primary responsibility to pay for college lies, to the extent possible, with the student and his/her family. Depending on your program of interest (undergraduate or graduate program), the types of financial assistance and alternative lending programs will vary at WPI.
The staff in WPI's Office of Financial Aid understands that the process of applying for financial assistance and sorting through the many alternative lending programs in order to finance the cost of WPI may be difficult. That is why we are here to help you with any questions you may have concerning the various resources and lending options that are available to you and your family.
