Gifts of appreciated stock are very easy to give to WPI, and provide you with a possible tax deduction and a savings from capital gains tax. Here are instructions for your broker to transfer a gift of stock to us:

Information for transferring stock electronically:

1. Prior to transfer, please contact our Gift Recording Office at +1-508-831-6040 so that we may arrange to accept your gift. Please be prepared to provide the following information:
   1. Name of your broker
   2. Stock owner's name if different from donor's
   3. Name of stock and number of shares
   4. Approximate value of stock
   5. Intended purpose of the gift
2. After contacting WPI, your broker should use the following DTC delivery instructions:
