Lunchtime Fitness

If you are interested in getting your workout in during your lunch hour, there are several organized activities on the WPI Campus that are available to you. You are welcome to join at any time. All ages and ability levels are welcome... just come with a desire to do something good for your body, mind, and overall health.

Lunchtime Fitness programs are reimburseable under Harvard Pilgrim Health Care's fitness benefit.   Simply email human-resources@wpi.edu to request reimbursement up to $ 150.00 once per calendar year.

 

Cardio Training

D Term Cardio Boot Camp begins March 12th and runs through April 30th.  Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:05pm-12:55pm in Schwaber Dance Studio A in the Sports & Recreation Center.

Yoga

Yoga has tons of benefits. It can improve flexibility, strength, balance, and stamina. In addition, many people who practice yoga say that it reduces anxiety and stress, improves mental clarity, and even helps them sleep better. Yoga meets Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 12:05pm-12:55pm.  D Term session begins March 11th and runs through May 3rd and will be held in the Schwaber Dance Studio A & B in the Sports & Recreation Center.

Dance Lessons 

The Tango fun will continue into D Term!   Classes are held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:05-12:55pm.  No partner needed!  Contact Ajayi Harris at aharris@wpi.edu for more info.
