Web Time Entry
Web Time Entry is a web based system to enter work hours. This enables employees to report time worked online and have it approved electronically by designated approvers in their departments. The information goes directly to Banner to be processed for payment by the Payroll Office.
The benefits of Web Time Entry include:
- Eliminate all paper timesheets, which is a huge step towards WPI's sustainability initiative
- Eliminate Data Entry errors
- Reduce processing time
- Ability to enter hours from any computer, anywhere, anytime
Future benefits of Web Time Entry will include:
- Employees will be able to put in leave requests, approvers will be able to approve leave requests
- Approvers will be able to see employees leave availability in real-time
