As a victim of sexual violence you have legal, medical, and counseling rights!
Some may delay seeking medical care after sexual assault. If you seek care within 120 hours, forensic evidence can be collected. In addition to a medical exam you will need medications for STD's , emergency contraception, counseling for HIV prophylaxis.
