Pre-Registration & Registration for the WPI STI

To attend a course at the WPI STI, you must complete the following process:

  1. Become a "Registered Teacher" with the PLTW National network.
  2. Login to the Registered Teacher page of PLTW and select the course you wish to attend.
  3. Choose WPI as your site.*
  4. In-State and Out-of-State Training

*If you are a teacher from Massachusetts and WPI is offering your course, WPI will appear as your only option for a site. If you have a conflict with attending our session, you must contact us directly (mcyr@wpi.edu).

*If you are an out-of-state teacher who cannot attend in your state and want to attend our session, contact your state’s Affiliate University Director

  1. Submit your information for the pre-registration for the WPI site.  After submitting your information for pre-registration, STI attendees will receive further instruction from the WPI PLTW staff regarding billing and the completion of housing, meal plan & emergency information.  If you have any questions please contact the Worcester Polytechnic Institute Project Lead the Way Office:

The WPI STI 2009 begins on Sunday, July 19, 2009, ends on Friday, July 31, 2009. To take advantage of the STI Group Rate, you must make your reservations through us no later than June 30, 2009.

Housing Cost: WPI is offering a flat rate of $1025.00 which includes breakfast

Lunch: The cost for lunch is included in the registration costs.

Dinner Meal Plan: Dinner allotment can be purchased for $15.00 per night

Instructions: Please complete the following Laptop Registration checklist so that we can ensure that your laptop will be appropriately equipped for the WPI STI 2009.  Administrator Rights is the most important feature that your laptop must have in order for you to successfully participate on Registration Day.
