K-12 Outreach

WPI has a unique and vigorous K-12 outreach program focused on science, mathematics and engineering. Dozens of programs provide learning opportunities and resources for teachers and students in kindergarten through high school. Our programs include pre-engineering and research experiences for students, professional development for teachers, and relevant, standards-based curricular activities to use in the classroom.

Featured Program: Project Lead the Way
New England Regional Project Lead the Way School Administrators and Guidance Counselor Conference

As the Massachusetts Affiliate for Project Lead The Way, we are pleased to be able to offer the 2008 Annual PLTW Guidance Counselor Conference to assist you in meeting your PLTW obligations. This annual conference is a requirement for school counselors to attend in order to become updated on Project Lead The Way. It also serves as an important opportunity for administrators from interested schools to become acquainted with the program. This conference will enable your school counselors to better understand what Project Lead The Way is, who it is for and what outcomes students, parents and teachers can expect from the program.
