The Vivarium is 3500 square foot facility which houses small rodents and aquatics. The facility has 8 housing rooms including a quarantine room and a barrier facility, 2 procedure rooms, laboratory, cage wash room, and a shower. WPI’s Animal Care and Use Program is accredited by the Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care International (AAALAC).
The Vivarium facility and staff are available for external projects on a fee-for-service basis. Please contact us to discuss your project and request rates.
