Zeiss Axiovert 200M Microscope

This system is based on an inverted microscope base. The Zeiss Axiovert 200M is a workhorse microscope capable of multifluorescence imaging (a filter module with filter sets for: Hoecsht/DAPI, FITC/488/GFP and Texas Red/594), it also has brightfield, phase contrast and DIC optics. It is eqipped with a Coolsnap fx CCD camera, Zeiss Axiovision software, a motorized stage and the following objectives: 10x A-Plan, 20x Plan-NEOFLUAR, 40x (oil) EC Plan_NEOFLUAR, a 40x Phase LD Plan-NEOFLUOR and a 63x (oil) DIC Plan-APO CHROMAT. In addition, it is equipped with 2 Eppendorf Transferman NK2 micromanipulators as well as a Burleigh Piezo. The entire set-up sits on a TMC Micro-g antivibration table.
