Welcome
The mission of the Division of Marketing and Communications is to:
- Identify and prioritize target audiences, study and define their needs
- Execute best strategies and programs to communicate WPI's brand message to further university's mission and goals
- Monitor, measure and modify messages and programs to better achieve goals
- Collaborate with and advise key groups to guide individual marketing initiatives
The department pursues this mission in a number of ways:
- By creating a distinctive identity for WPI that embodies the unique strengths of the university.
- By developing and implementing an integrated marketing plan that efficiently and effectively promotes WPI in the short- and long-term.
- By establishing a centralized marketing structure for the university that ensures the consistent delivery of branding and messages across the institution.
- And by building on existing pride within the WPI community by promoting a focused understanding of marketing and a consistent way of communicating about the university.
