Content Management System (CMS)
WPI uses RedDot Content Management System software to update our website. The CMS allows non-technical users to create, edit, and publish content to the website. It also helps maintain a consistent look and feel across all pages of our site. The CMS automatically sets the site colors, fonts, and text formatting, while serving as a storage area for data, including text, images, and pdf files.
The CMS Process
The CMS is designed to simplify the publication of content to web pages through a workflow process. The workflow enables content creators to submit their work to a content approver, who then reviews and publishes the content to the site.
We encourage CMS users to visit our CMS Portal page for information on the system including tutorials, policies and procedures, and page examples.
If you have any questions regarding the CMS, please feel free to contact our CMS Administrator at cmshelp@wpi.edu.
