Our experienced writers, editors, designers, and developers create and maintain pages for the WPI website and design interactive media pieces that enhance WPI's image, reputation, and name recognition. We are responsible for the design, architecture, and content of the university's website. We also maintain the RedDot Content Management System (CMS) and provide training and support for CMS users across the university.

Kim Allen is responsible for writing original copy for the WPI website, as well as editing existing website copy and client-supplied text. She is also responsible for site architecture and navigation for much of the WPI website. Kim evaluates existing web pages from a user-experience viewpoint and recommends changes accordingly. She analyzes Urchin website statistics and recommends changes in text, dynamic content, and navigation when necessary.

Nick Galotti is responsible for maintaining and developing new Web applications on the WPI website. These include but are not limited to webform, Regi, eCards, and ConfReg. Nick also administers the Google Mini and Urchin servers. He helps with developing new templates for the CMS, which may require work in ASP and RQL. In addition, he maintains the folder structure on the Web server and is responsible for generating short URLs as necessary.

AnnMarie Nichols is the interactive designer for Marketing and Communications, where she is responsible for the conceptualization, design, coding, and integration of websites, online advertising, and multimedia projects that support the university's overall marketing strategy. In addition, she ensures ADA compliance of all interactive material produced by the Web Operations team.

Luke Salsich is the WPI Project Manager for the redevelopment of the WPI website and acts as project manager for all WPI web design projects. He also manages the project schedule for the entire Web Operations team. Luke acts as the liaison between Web Operations and the rest of the university, while serving as an advisor on the construction and maintenance of the website.

Carol Williams is responsible for the administration of the RedDot Content Management System (CMS) including managing the content migration of pages from HTML pages into the CMS, providing support to CMS users, and developing CMS templates for new sites. She has developed a number of services to help CMS editors and approvers. She also manages the CMS Users Group meetings to facilitate communications with editors and approvers.
