Marketing Communications
The Marketing Communications arm of University Marketing works in partnership with other offices and departments at WPI to produce high-quality printed materials that help meet their communications needs and that also help enhance WPI's image, reputation and name recognition. In addition, we provide members of the WPI community with a variety of tools to help them be effective communicators.
Here are some examples of the kinds of work we do for WPI:
- Help shape communications strategies
- Write and edit copy
- Design publications
- Ensure appropriate use of university visual identity marks and standards
- Manage the publications process
- Publish periodicals
- Secure and manage outside resources (designers, photographers, illustrators, writers, editors, proofreaders)
- Obtain competitive prices from printers, mail houses, merchandise suppliers and other vendors
- Maintain and develop Web projects for the WPI Website
- Administer the Red Dot Content Management System (CMS), providing support to the CMS Editors and Approvers.
