Why should you participate in the Summer Bridge Program?

If you successfully pass your two courses plus the study skills program, your academic standing will be improved (Probation to Warning or Warning to Satisfactory).   If you are an aid applicant, the classes you pass during the Summer Bridge Program will be added to the number of courses completed during terms A07'-D08' when reviewing your eligibility for financial assistance for the 2008-2009 academic year.

You will receive a letter from the Registrar's Office at the end of D term informing you of your academic status if you are placed on Academic Warning or Probation.  If you receive financial aid, you will also receive a letter regarding your eligibilitiy for continued aid.  This letter is NOT AN OFFICIAL NOTIFICATION of your academic status or of your financial aid eligibility.

If you have not passed six courses this current academic year, you may still participate in the Summer Bridge Program to make up courses and strengthen your learning and study skills.   You may also use successful completion of the program to strengthen a financial aid petition if applicable.  Successful completion of Bridge will not result in a change in your academic standing nor will it result in the financial aid consideration discussed above.

You are not eligible to participate in the Bridge Program if you have been suspended.

To participate in the program, you will need to do the following:
