Faculty Advancement in Research (FAR)

The intent of the Faculty Advancement in Research (FAR) award mechanism of the Research Development Council (RDC) is to provide faculty members and research teams with seed funding for innovative, proof of concept research efforts. These efforts are expected to lead to significant new results that will lead to long-term, extramural support for more advanced phases of the work. Additional outcomes will include publishable papers, exhibitions, and/or conference proceedings, as relevant to the discipline.
