Judging Criteria

The abstract will be judged in conjunction with the poster, a three to five minute presentation and a three minute question & answer period. Scoring criteria is as follows:

  1. Poster Content and Display (60%)
    1. Abstract originality
    2. Appropriate research methodology and design
    3. Quality of presentation of data through charts, figures, photos, etc.
  2. Oral Presentation (20%)
    1. Clarity of presentation of research and data
  3. Question & Answer Period (20%)
    1. Quality of responses to judge's questions
