Graduate Research Achievement Day 2008

The third annual Graduate Research Achievement Day (GRAD 2008) will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 in the Campus Center Odeum. GRAD 2008 will celebrate the research activities of our graduate students with a poster-style symposium. This event provides graduate students with the opportunity to present their research to peers, faculty, the WPI community and their guests, and to facilitate the exchange of information and ideas across a wide variety of disciplines.

The WPI community and their guests are invited to attend GRAD 2008 from 1:00 to 4:30 pm!
Awards
A panel of 40 WPI faculty members will serve as judges to select the three best posters in the areas of engineering, the life sciences & bioengineering, and the sciences. The top winner in each category will receive a $500 award and Certificates of Merit will be awarded for second and third place winners. Advisors and students may elect to participate in a category that does not necessarily fall within the criteria listed below:
- Engineering (CEE, ECE, FPE, ME)
- Life Sciences & Bioengineering (BBT, BME, CBC, CHE)
- Sciences (CS, MA, MGT, PH, SSPS)
Deadline
Registration is now open! Applications are accepted online and are due by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 22, 2008. An abstract, limited to 250 words, is required.

Students and their advisors should be aware that information presented at GRAD 2008 could be taken as a public disclosure of Intellectual Property (IP) which should be protected.
