Students with Disabilities
The Office of Disability Services and Residential Services work closely together to assist students who have particular needs with regards to their housing assignment. All students who are requesting specialized housing to accommodate their disability, must meet with The Office of Disability Services and will then be considered for placement based on those documented needs. The Director of Residential Services will meet with the Office of Disability Services including the summer, to assess applications and make recommendations.
Though you have submitted paperwork through the Disability Service office you will still need to complete a Housing Application sent to you by Residential Services to determine your likes and dislikes, sleep habits, whether you are messy or neat, you will or will not live with a smoker, you study with or without music etc. If you are requesting special accommodations you must make sure you have submitted the appropriate paperwork.
