Bethany Covey, Alpha Gamma Delta

Bethany, also know as Beth, is the current President of Alpha Gamma Delta. She was nominated by Katherine Soojian. Beth has worn many different hats in Alpha Gam, including being Vice President Recruitment, and Personal Development. Representing Alpha Gam on Panhellenic Beth as served as Treasurer, and is also a member of Rho Lambda. Over the past four years Beth has truly come to exemplify what it means to be a great Greek. Not only does she serve the Greek Community by holding important offices within her chapter, but she balances this with her academics and extra curricular activities. This year as president of Alpha Gam she ahs worked her hardest to make sure that everything runs smoothly, making sure that 2 other chapter officers work together to make our chapter a success. All the while she has been a shoulder to lean on, a listening ear, a voice of wisdom, and in short a great sister, to everyone in the chapter. If there were one word to described Beth is would be dedicated. The message that Kate and the chapter want to give to Beth, “Beth, all of your hard work and dedication to the Greek system has not gone unnoticed. You are doing an amazing job and we all appreciate it!

Vincent Milano, Sigma Phi Epsilon
February 8, 2008
Vincent is junior from Sigma Phi Epsilon where he is the Vice President of Finances. He was nominated by Jonathan Shoemaker. Vincent has taken control of Sig Ep’s financial struggles. He has created both a budget system, and means for producing house bills that will both save Sig Ep money and help to appropriate it correctly. In years past the finances have not been written down and were left for the alumni board to deal with leading to misplaced funds. Vincent has been honored y the alumni board, receiving the first Tyler scholarship granted in 7 years. Jonathan said that “Vinny a pleasure to have on the on the Executive board and I look forward to working with him.” Jonathan is also glad that Vincent has stepped up to take charge of an important situation.

Amanda Gurnon, Phi Sigma Sigma
Amanda Gurnon is a junior Chemical Engineering major from Tolland, CT. Amanda is recognized for her hard work as Risk Manager in A-Term, where she had done an amazing job exciting events to fulfill our chapter's programming requirements. Although she is currently completing her IQP in Cape Town, South Africa for B-Term, Amanda coordinated an Etiquette Dinner sponsored by Phi Sigma Sigma, Rho Lambda, the Panhellenic Council and Chartwells. This dinner was put on for all women involved in Greek Life to encourage professional skill development by highlighting appropriate practices necessary for job interviews over dinner. She has also planned a Virtual Bar/Alcohol Awareness program with the Healthy Alternatives Office which will be held at the end of B-Term. Amanda remains a very organized and active member of our chapter's executive board, and she is both a great sister and friend. The sisters of Phi Sigma Sigma would like to thank Amanda for all of the hard work she has done for both Phi Sigma Sigma and Panhellenic life.

Sarah Gilkey, Alpha Gamma Delta
Sarah Gilkey is currently a sophomore majoring in IMGD, and has put her computer skills to the test, as official Webmaster, drastically improving the Alpha Gamma Delta website. Up until she took office, the website had not been updated and improved upon. Once she took over her office we had website to be proud of. A beautiful website, that is both informative and up to date. When describing Sarah, one word comes to mind: Motivates. Alpha Gamma Delta is proud to have a sister that works so hard to make her chapter proud, and would like to thank her for all of her efforts and her portrayal of a model sister of Alpha Gamma Delta.

Karyn Gottardi, Alpha Gamma Delta
Karyn Gottardi is a junior Industrial Engineer from Feeding Hills, MA, with an extreme passion for Greek life. As a sister of Alpha Gamma Delta, she has held positions as the chair in charge of Personal Development, the Secretary of the Panhellenic Council, and most recently, as Vice President of Recruitment. Karyn did a tremendous job this year in organizing recruitment for Alpha Gamma Delta. Not only did she plan great, fun rounds, but Karyn has energized the chapter with her programing and enthusiasm. Never has anyone seen the chapter so ready to rock recruitment! Every sister has so much respect for Karyn that even as a junior, she has become one of the strongest leaders in the chapter. Karyn's positive attitude, tireless work ethic, and dedication to excellence helped to tie the bonds of sisterhood even closer in rallying together for one of the most demanding, but fun, times of the year. Unique and new programming and invitation of more alumnae involvement by Karyn's forward thinking also played a tremendous role. Throughout the tough, stressful stretch in organizing, Karyn was extremely level headed, gracious, and - confident, classy, and fabulous! The sisters of Alpha Gamma Delta all describe Karyn as dedicated and enthusiastic, and are more than proud to call her their sister.

Vincent Kan, Sigma Alpha Epsilon
Vincent Kan is senior Biomedical Engineering major from West Springfield, MA. He embodies all the traits that a good fraternity brother should. Within the house of Sigma Alpha Epsilon he has held many important positions that require great responsibility and leadership skills, such as Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, Risk Manager, Assistant Steward, and Public Relations Chairman. He is currently the Treasurer of the House. This position entails filing out the taxes of the fraternity and the house cook, monitoring the house's budget to ensure the financial stability of the chapter, and making sure all the house's bills are paid in a timely fashion. At the end of the year, he also is responsible for creating the budget for the next fiscal year. As if that was not enough, Vincent is also a member of Tau Beta Pi engineering honor society with an overall GPA of 3.63 as well as the Men's Rugby team, Chinese Student Association, and Biomedical Engineering Society. Since the summer Vincent has been interning at Boston Scientific Corporation in Marlborough, MA. Exemplifying the values of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, his brothers consider him to be the perfect model of a "True Gentleman", leaving behind large shoes to fill when he graduates and leaves behind his legacy at SAE.

James Roumeliotis, Sigma Pi
October 1st – October 5th

James Roumeliotis is a senior this year from Lynnfield, Massachusetts. In his last year at WPI and an influential member of his Fraternity Sigma Pi, he is also a remarkable reflection on Greek life at WPI. Along with being known as a dedicated member of his Fraternity and the Greek system, James was one of the leading voices in Sigma Pi’s “Bounce To a Cure.” For those who don’t know, this was Sigma Pi’s fundraiser to collect donations for the Scleroderma Foundation. On top of collecting a sizeable donation, James himself broke the world record for pogo sticking. Through his determination and dedication to achieving his goals is a great inspiration to the Greek Community as a whole and is an excellent example of what it means to be Greek of the Week.

Beth Covey, Alpha Gamma Delta,
Greek of the Week April 8th - April 14th

Beth is a Junior Industrial Engineering Major from Bangor, ME. Not only is Beth a strong leader of Alpha Gamma Delta, serving as their current President, but she also devotes a large portion of her time and dedication to other various aspects of the WPI campus. Beth has proven herself time and time again as a leader on campus and in the Greek community as a member of Order of Omega and serving as secretary of Rho Lambda. Beth is also Vice President of the Women's Rugby team and is a devoted member of the Christian Bible Fellowship. To improve and ensure her leadership skills, she attends many leadership conferences such as The Advanced Leaders Track for the Leading Edge Series. Beth was also recognized with a scholarship from the Leadership Institute in Indiana, hosted by Alpha Tau Omega. Alpha Gamma Delta describes Beth as benevolent, being one of the most well-rounded, and amazing Greek women they've ever known. On a heartfelt note, Karyn Gottardi of Alpha Gamma Delta had a message for Beth; "Beth, you are such a role model to myself and many others. Everything you've done for the Greek Community and WPI has meant a lot to many people. Your warm character and strong prescence is sure to lead our chapter in a very positive direction".

Elizabeth Stewart and Kevin Wilson, Sigma Alpha Epsilon
April 15st-April 21th
Elizabeth Stewart is a junior Chemical Engineering Major from Londonderry, NH and Kevin Wilson is a sophomore Chemical Engineering Major from Clinton, CT. Elizabeth currently the Panhellenic Vice President Activities. Kevin has served as the Public Relations Chair and Risk Manager of Sigma Alpha Epsilon and is currently the Interfraternity Council Activities Chairman. Together, Elizabeth and Kevin planned this year’s April Adrenaline, which occurred on the Quad on April 14th. April Adrenaline is a competition between the Greek chapters on campus. This year, chapters competed in an equipment relay, a water balloon toss, a pyramid, and a can drive to benefit the Worcester City Food Bank as well as other activities. In total, Greek chapters donated over 800 pounds of food. Elizabeth and Kevin did an amazing job to make this event a complete success! Besides planning April Adrenaline, Elizabeth Stewart planned a breakfast to honor graduating Panhellenic seniors and their families on Project Presentation Day. She has worked incredibly hard to bring all of Greek Life together to serve the community and to unite as a Greek system. Kevin has also done great things besides planning April Adrenaline. His drive, determination, and organization allow him to excel as his fraternity’s Risk Manager, which has won the National Risk Management Award two years in a row. In addition to their great contributions to the Greek community, Elizabeth and Kevin are very involved in other activities on campus. Elizabeth is a member of Women’s Rugby and AIChE and she demonstrates her leadership qualities by being a Community Advisor. Kevin is a Crimson Key Tour Guide. In one word, Elizabeth’s nominator calls her "motivated" and Kevin’s nominator says that he’s "focused."

Nick Pelletier, Phi Kappa Theta

Nick Pelletier is a sophomore in Biomedical Engineering from Westminster, MA. Although he is only in his second year, Nick has exhibited the qualities of an amazing leader and an outstanding member of the Greek community at WPI. As president of the newly re-colonized Phi Kappa Theta fraternity, Nick has been in charge of attending local and national Leadership Conferences on behalf of the Massachusetts Lambda chapter. Along with his outstanding GPA, Nick also serves as an Orientation Leader, Admissions Intern, a member of the Student Support Network and the Leading Edge Series. His passion for service has helped him in planning Relay for Life--quite possibly the biggest and most anticipated community service/fundraising event for the entire community that WPI has ever seen. Referring to Nick, Jill Goldstein, a sister of Phi Sigma Sigma, described him as a natural leader, an excellent student and a respectable friend. With so many good ways to describe Nick, Jill summed it up best by saying, "Nick, your motivation to succeed and your willingness to help others are both inspirational and contagious". Congratulations Nick Pelletier, on being the new Phi Kappa Theta's first ever Greek of the Week.

Julie Marquis , Phi Sigma Sigma, and Ryan Eley, Alpha Tau Omega

Julie Marquis is a freshman Civil Engineering Major from Somers, CT and Ryan Eley is a sophomore Civil Engineering Major from Quaker Hill, CT. Julie Marquis is the newly elected Community Service Chair of Phi Sigma Sigma and Ryan Eley is the Philanthropist of Alpha Tau Omega. Together they successfully planned the Second Annual Alpha Tau Omega and Phi Sigma Sigma Easter Egg Hunt at Bancroft Tower. This event was started last year and continued this year because of the great outcome and response from the area's families. This year about 30 children and their parents came to the event to search out the 300 candy-filled eggs hidden by the brothers of Alpha Tau Omega and the sisters of Phi Sigma Sigma. The children were also able to participate in other activities such as facepainting, coloring, and a barbeque. With a brother of Alpha Tau Omega dressed up as the Easter Bunny, the children responded to the event wonderfully. This event was highly successful, making it fun for not only the children, but the brothers, sisters, and parents who attended as well. In addition to their great contributions to the Greek community, Julie and Ryan are very involved in other activities on campus. Julie works at the Campus Center Information Desk, is involved in Women's Industry Networking, Society of Women Engineers, Habitat for Humanity, and she plays rugby and lacrosse. Ryan serves as the Chair of Student Life Issues on the Student Government Association and was recently responsible for the SGA sponsored Ski Trip to Wachusett Mountain. In one word, Julie's nominator calls her "compassionate" and Ryan's nominator says that he's "determined." Phi Sigma Sigma sister, Amanda DeBaie, wishes to tell Julie, "Congratulations Julie! I think you are doing a great job being the Community Service chair and I cannot wait for all the Phi Sig events you have planned for the future." Alpha Tau Omega brother, Bryan Bigda, wishes to say, "The brothers of Alpha Tau Omega gamma sigma would like to congratulate Ryan and let him know that we appreciate all the hard work he does for our chapter."

Sarah Van Oudenaren

Sarah Van Oudenaren is a junior Chemical Engineering Major from Norfolk, MA. She has served as Panhellenic Vice President Judicial as well as Panhellenic President. Transitioning into Panhellenic President this past C Term, Sarah has made many changes to the organization of the Panhellenic meetings. Under her guidance, the meetings are run very professionally with every member of the Panhellenic Council wearing badge attire. She has also made changes to the structure of the meetings, including the order of officer and sorority delegate reports and new and old business. Sarah is anticipated to continue making great changes to the professionalism of the Panhellenic Council through the duration of her office. Sarah's nominator describes her as "dedicated" when asked which one word best portrays her.

Jess Balesano, Alpha Gamma Delta

Jess Balesano is a junior Chemical Engineering Major from East Hartford, CT. As a sister of Alpha Gamma Delta, Jess has put in a lot of hard work, serving as Membership Coordinator, and most recently, New Member Coordinator. As New Member Coordinator, Jess holds one of the most challenging positions. Her sole purpose is to be an example and a mentor, defining what it means to be an Alpha Gam. Jess's dedication since day one has been outstanding. Jess started out the year as Membership Coordinator, but was later ask to step up and take over the role of New Member Coordinator. Even though it was short notice, Jess was able to transform this position to positively affect Alpha Gamma Delta's twenty nine new members. Her tasks included running fraternity education classes, explaining the workings of a sorority, fostering a love for Alpha Gam, introducing the new women to the sisters of the chapter, organizing and guiding sister moms, encouraging sisterhood and leadership development among others, and so many other behind the scenes details. Jess knows the new members perhaps even better than herself, and never once let down her passion and devotion under a heavy work load that included PQP. Outside of her office, Jess is a very well respected sister in her chapter. She is a true friend, as every sister should be, and is a great example to others. If you ask any of the sister's they'll all describe Jess as being dedicated, passionate, or even stellar. Jess is always willing to step up and serve Alpha Gamma Delta whenever needed, and always with a smile on her face. Sister Mary Kate Toomey wishes to say one thing, "Jess, you've worked so hard to help our new members become Alpha Gams and been such a wonderful sister always."

Ross Hudon, Tau Kappa Epsilon
February 4

Ross Hudon is a sophomore Environmental Engineering Major from Londonderry, NH. He filled in as the interim Vice President for Tau Kappa Epsilon while the elected officer was away on MQP. He spent countless hours organizing numerous activities for TKE including the Red Carnation Ball, the winter retreat and charity drives. Not only has Ross dedicated an incredible amount of time and effort to his chapter, but he is also an outstanding brother. "He has been an open source of comfort and advice to anyone who needs it, putting aside other efforts in order to try and help the people who need him," says a brother of Tau Kappa Epsilon. Brother and nominator, Nick Bebel, describes Ross as, "always striving to be a great brother, a great friend and to me a great roommate." Nick wishes to say to Ross, "Congratulations! You deserve it."

Amy LeBlanc
Jan. 27th

Amy LeBlanc is a senior Civil and Environmental Engineering Major from Brockton, MA. As a sister of Phi Sigma Sigma, Amy has put a lot of hard work over the years, having served as Assistant Bursar, Bursar, and as Archon. Amy has put countless hours into her duty as Archon, and her chapter has flourished because of it. Since last year, she has worked very closely with the Phi Sigma Sigma National to ensure the good status of her chapter. As a dedicated leader and exemplary sister, Amy serves as a great role model for all sisters, both personally and academically. When asked about Amy, the members of Phi Sigma Sigma summed it up one word. Amy is simply "Dedicated". Sisters Samantha Cote and Ashley Goncalo have one thing left to say, "Congrats Amy! Thanks for all your hard work this year."

Adam Tracy

Adam Tracy is a junior Civil/ Fire Protection Engineering Major from Hudson, MA. He has done an excellent job as President of Alpha Chi Rho as well as being recently elected as President of the Interfraternity Council. Adam has worked hard to better his fraternity and his leadership in Alpha Chi Rho has greatly influenced the organization both internally and externally. Being only a junior with great responsibility in chapter, he brings a fresher, more energetic feel to the position. Under his guidance, Alpha Chi Rho has renovated several areas of their house including tiling the floor in the entrance way, laying down a hardwood floor in the TV room, repainting walls, and renovating the basement. Adam's nominator says that "integrity" is the one word that describes him. Brother Daniel Bartl wishes to say, "We congratulate you on winning the IFC presidency, and we deeply appreciate the service and love that you have shown Alpha Chi Rho since initiation."

Suzanne is a senior majoring in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Underhill, VT and a sister of Phi Sigma Sigma. She is also the Panhellenic Council's Vice President of Recruitment. She is this week's Greek of the Week for all of her effort into this year's recruitment. She goes above and beyond in everything that she does and was responsible for organizing a self defense speaker for women and the Greek BBQ with IFC. She also helped train the recruitment counselors. Her nominator Sofie Kniazeva describes her as "amazing" and says, "Congrats!"

Alexia Bililies, Phi Sigma Sigma

Alexia Bililies is a sophomore from Bedford, MA and a sister of Phi Sigma Sigma. In Phi Sig she has received tremendous recognition from her sister for her community service. She leads by example and promotes everyone in her chapter to get involved in the Worcester community. She is so dedicated for the betterment of others that she took a year off after her senior year to volunteer at an orphanage in Costa Rica. Last month she organized a volunteer effort at a homeless shelter on Cottage Street in Worcester where she and several sisters helped to paint rooms in the shelter in order for its opening October 15th. Her sister described her as 'selfless' and says, "Thank you Lexi for helping our chapter become more involved in our community! You're doing a fantastic job!"

Matthew Schulze, Sigma Alpha Epsilon

Matthew Schulze is a Junior Biology/Biotechnology major from Townsend, MA. He is a brother of Sigma Alpha Epsilon and has received commendation from his house for his role as Community Service Chair. He has led SAE to help Jeremiah's Inn, a shelter for homeless alcoholics, a 5-mile Walk to Cure Cancer, and the highly successful 'Sink-A-SigAlph' event during the week of September 11th, which raised money for the troops in Iraq. As of last A-term with 250 hours of community service recorded by the chapter, Matt has set SAE in the right direction to reach their end of year goal of 700 hours. His brother Kevin Wilson described him as "motivated" and says, "Keep up the good work, every hours of CS makes this chapter that much better."

Andy Anderson, Alpha Tau Omega

Andrew Anderson is a junior Mechanical Engineering Major from Port Jefferson, NY. He is a brother of Alpha Tau Omega, and serves as the Activities Chairman for the Interfraternity Council. As Activities Chairman, he is responsible for events like Freshmen Move In, the Greek Carnival during New Student Orientation, Greek Week, which leads up to homecoming, and more. This nomination is in recognition of Andy's hard work over the summer, to prepare for a great Greek Carnival, coming up with new ideas like having houses run carnival games. In a word, Andy's nominator described him as "dedicated" and says, "You did a great job planning the Greek Carnival, and I am sure that Greek Week will be just as much of a success."

Eric DeLuca, Sigma Phi Epsilon

Congratulations to Eric DeLuca, Greek of the Week. Eric DeLuca is a junior Mechanical Engineering Major from nearby Lynn, MA. He won this week's Greek of the Week after winning a record setting fourteen nominations from his Brothers at Sigma Phi Epsilon. Eric received recognition for his hard work as House Manager at Sig Ep. This past summer, he completely refurbished their basement, laying down new floor tiles, renovating the walls, and installing a new projector. He worked closely with his House's alumni board and other companies, as well as donating a lot of his own personal time. Brothers Jonathan Shoemaker and Justin Wells describe him as "dedicated," Brother Steve Feroli describes him as "unselfish" and Brother Robert Panatole says "Thanks Papa for all your time and effort in helping this house."

Nichole Carriere

Nichole Carriere is a Mechanical Engineering major from Fitchburg, MA. She serves as their Public Relations Chair. Despite taking a heavy course load while participating in a varsity sport, she has taken an active leadership role in her Sorority. As PR Chair, she encouraged sisters to be more present on campus and put up banners to welcome the freshmen to campus on behalf of their chapter. Outside of her office, she has been incredibly involved, serving on committees to plan Homecoming Week, helping out with the SAE Fundraiser, and training to run a marathon to raise money for her Sorority's foundation. On top of all this she has maintained a positive attitude, making it her job to add a little more fun to everyone's life. Her sisters have described her as "enthusiastic," "reliable," and "awesome."

David Gagnon, Tau Kappa Epsilon

David Gagnon is a Civil Engineering major from Wilbraham, MA. He is a brother of Tau Kappa Epsilon and serves as their Vice President. Dave receives recognition this week for his hard work organizing the TKE Week fundraiser and TKE's participation in the Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk. He also organized the chapter's summer retreat. Dave always actively participates at the house and can be counted on for his positive attitude in even the most adverse situations. Dave's nominator, Ross Hudon, sends the message "Thanks for everything you do for the house. You're a great Greek and an even better TKE."

Ross Tsantoulis, Lambda Chi Alpha

Ross Tsantoulis is a Junior Civil Engineering major from Hooksett, New Hampshire. He has previously been the Alumni Relations Chair and currently serves as Vice President of External Relations for Lambda Chi Alpha. This passionate brother has been recognized for all of his hard work and efforts in organizing the annual Teeter-Totter-a-thon with Alpha Gamma Delta. To raise the level even more, Ross organized the first ever Charity Dodgeball Tournament during the weekend of the philanthropy event to benefit juvenile diabetes. Ross did an amazing job motivating the chapter and getting the brotherhood involved to help make this the most successful Teeter-Totter in recent history. His nominator strongly believes that Ross' "dedication to success and improving the community serves as an example to all our members and all Greeks at WPI". Corinne Linderman, Alpha Gamma Delta

Corinne Linderman is a junior Mechanical Engineering major from Alexandria, Virginia. She is Alpha Gamma Delta's incoming President, and has previously served her chapter as Public Relations Coordinator and Vice President of Operations. This charismatic sister's leadership qualities and experience extend outside of the chapter, holding positions in organizations including President of LSI, Co-founder and President of College Democrats, and is a member of the Campus Hearing Board. Corinne also rows for the Women's Varsity Crew team and is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. She is recognized by several honor societies for her contribution to the WPI and Greek Communities, one of which is Rho Lambda. Even though she is an extremely active student and sister, Corinne is on track to graduate early. Corinne still finds time to be a supportive sister and friend. Amanda Otterman, Phi Sigma Sigma

Amanda Otterman is a senior Mechanical Engineering major from Hinsdale, Illinois. She has served in the positions of Bursar and Archon for Phi Sigma Sigma. As Bursar, Amanda kept financial records for over 100 women. She endeavored to maintain "the Gamma Iota chapter's impeccable standings with our international organization as well as other Greek organizations on campus." Amanda is considered by her sisters to be an invaluable resource to Phi Sigma Sigma, additionally participating in the Sorority Expansion process and Panhellenic. At least one sister finds her to be inspirational. The membership feels that Amanda is someone the Phi Sigma Sigma sisters and members of the Greek community can turn to. Justin Sherman, Sigma Pi
March 21, 2006

Justin Sherman is a sophomore Management Information Systems major from Pembroke, Massachusetts. He is the past President and current Rush Chair of Sigma Pi. Justin's nominator believes that the brother who led the rebuilding of the Gamma Iota Chapter represents what every Fraternity man should be. After serving as president, Justin stepped in as interim Vice President of IFC this past C Term. While in this position, Justin led the first set of judicial hearings and fixed errors in the IFC bylaws. This week's winner helps out whenever needed and puts others before himself. Justin's nominator described this leader as hardworking, driven, intelligent, and honorable. Jeremy Cote, Alpha Chi Rho

Jeremy Cote is a senior Civil Engineering major from Chicopee, Massachusetts. He has held the offices of President, Treasurer, and Newsletter Chairman for Alpha Chi Rho. Jeremy's nominator notes that after joining AXP, he quickly made a name for himself. When elected as Treasurer his junior year, Jeremy was able to maneuver around high utility prices and a very tight budget. Not only was Jeremy able to get through the winter, but made improvements to the house's energy efficiency as well. He is currently finishing his term as President, but despite the great dedication and time commitment to the chapter, Jeremy never lets his schoolwork suffer. Eric Mueller, Tau Kappa Epsilon

Eric Mueller is a junior Biotechnology major from Rochester, New York. He is a former Vice President and Social Chair for Tau Kappa Epsilon and is currently serving as Activities Chair. As the Vice President, Eric was responsible for organizing the chapter's philanthropic efforts. Even as TKE was recovering from their fire, Eric had already begun work planning for the chapter's annual TEKE Week for Alzheimers. Adding to the annual Teke Hut by Higgins, Eric planned a battle of a band and led TKE brothers in capping off the week by volunteering and walking in the Central Massachusetts Memory Walk. When TEKE Week had ended, an all time high of $2,800 had been raised for the Massachusetts Alzheimer's Association, a figure Eric's nominator contributes largely to his dedication and outstanding efforts. Kristin Collette is a senior Civil Engineering major from Dennis Massachusetts. She has held the offices of Assistant House Manager and Philanthropy Chair for Phi Sigma Sigma. "Kristin shows amazing efforts in everything she does and never puts half effort into anything," says her nominator. As proof of this focus and effort, Kristin's activities include being the former Panellenic President, former Panellenic Fundraising Chair, Vice President of Order of Omega, and past President of SWE. Mike Ball, Alpha Tau Omega

Mike Ball is a sophomore Civil Engineering major from Waltham, Massachusetts. He currently holds the position of House Manager for Alpha Tau Omega. Just before the winter break, Mike spearheaded ATO's first Charity Dodgeball Tournament. Recruiting fifteen teams to play in a very successful tournament, Mike's efforts resulted in raising over $500 to donate to the Why Me? Foundation of Worcester. Why Me? provides services to children with cancer. Mike's commitment to and responsibility in every aspect of this event is credited by his nominator as the reasons for its immense success. Melissa is a 2006 CE major from Carlisle, MA. Within her chapter she has served as Purchasing Coordinator and Sisterhood Coordinator. One sister says of Mel, "She has given a lot to not only our chapter, but also to the Greek system as a whole. As a junior she served as Panhellenic Treasurer, is now the Panhellenic Judicial Chair, and also was a Rho Chi this year. Mel has also just received an invitation to join Order of Omega and is an officer in Rho Lambda." Mel also participates on the Senior Committee, Crimson Key, SWE. Recently, Mel revamped one of Alpha Gamma Delta's offices to make it more effective. Mike is a 2007 MGE major from Agawam Massachusetts. He has served in several positions within his chapter, having been most recently elected as Chapter President. His nominator feels that he should be recognized as Greek of the Week because "his devotion to the Greek System and the school is unparalleled. Mike has given much to the school by volunteering his time as an Orientation Leader and also as a member of Crimson Key. He has worked hard as a leader in our chapter as vice president and at the same time, taken the role of Rush Chair. Both roles take much time and effort but with his great leadership, our chapter has achieved one of the most successful rushes in years. However, he is not just dedicated to our chapter but also to the Greek system as a whole. Elected as a sophomore, he served as IFC President and worked with the other execs to take the proper course of actions dealing with the recent events." Justin is a Class of 2007 Biology major who hails from Shrewsbury, MA. He has served as Recruitment chair and Postulant Educator. According to his nominator, Justin deserves to be recognized as Greek of the Week because of his unrelenting dedication to Alpha Chi Rho, stating, "Crow has brothers who have held more positions than Justin, yet he ranks as one of the most helpful undergraduates of the house. Recently, Crow has completed some minor work in the house. A lot of work was completed during house work sessions, and the rest was done by our property manager, treasurer, president, and other officers. However, Justin took it upon himself to complete a huge amount of work, without even being expected to do so, during the fall break, the final weeks of A-term, and the first few weeks of this term. In fact, as many of our brothers dispersed during the break, Justin did most of the work without anyone else knowing; simply to benefit his fraternity." Linsley Kelly is a class of 2007 Biology & Biotechnology major from West Haven, Connecticut and currently serves as the philanthropy chair for Alpha Gamma Delta. Linsley has worked hard this year to set up various philanthropy events for Alpha Gamma Delta. One sister says, "back in September, she got all of the sisters psyched up for Worcester's Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation walk; many of us raised over $100 and we had a blast hanging out together during the walk." Recently, Linsley "adopted" three children from Friendly House so that the chapter could buy holiday gifts for them. She has also helped arranged a trip to Sherry's House so that the chapter's new members can visit with the children and their parents. Additionally, she also coordinated the chapter's involvement with the blood drive that took place this past Wednesday. Jamielee is a Mechanical Engineering major for Exeter, NH. She currently serves as the Social Chair for Phi Sigma Sigma. Recently, she organized a faculty appreciation reception with Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. Members of the Faculty and Administration enjoyed refreshments and the opportunity to get to know the sisters and brothers on a more personal level. Earlier in the term, she organized a cookie social with Tau Kappa Epsilon. The brothers of TKE had a great time seeing the Phi Sigma Sigma house and meeting the sisters in a casual setting. Jamielee also alerts Phi Sig to events on campus such as sports games, job fairs and speakers, as well as opportunities to help fraternities with their recruitment events. Other than being an active sister of Phi Sigma Sigma, Jamielee is involved in WIN, Society of Women Engineers, Crimson Key, Women's Rugby Team and she is an orientation leader. Caitlyn is a junior Civil Engineering and a member of Phi Sigma Sigma. She has served as philanthropy chair in her first year as a Phi Sigma Sigma sister. Scott is a Senior Aeronautical Engineering major from Warwick, RI who currently serves as Chaplain for Alpha Tau Omega. Described as "loyal" by his brothers, one brother says of Scott, "In the past year, Scotty has exemplified himself as a standup leader in the Chapter and someone who is most passionate about his fraternity." On the weekend before Halloween, Scott took charge of organizing a Haunted House on Bancroft Tower for all the neighborhood children. Scotty's responsibilities for the weekend included finding costumes for other Brothers to wear, searching the tower and setting up different themed rooms for the haunted house, getting other brothers to participate and assisting in the PR to community members. Steve Taylor, Zeta Psi Fraternity

A senior Civil Engineering major from Temple, NH, Steve Taylor has served as Sergeant at Arms, Treasurer, and Pledge Trainer for his fraternity. Most recently Steve helped to spearhead the chapter's Home-Run Derby. As one brother states, "Steve was greatly affected when he found out about how Hurricane Katrina destroyed most of Tulane University since it is so close to the French Quarter. He had no experience hosting a charity event or fundraiser but he felt strongly about it and decided to hold a home run derby for charity." Steve handled every aspect of it and table sat for most of the time. He also used his connections to get a first prize valued at $900 for $100 dollars therefore increasing the amount of money Zeta Psi was able to send to Tulane. Congratulations to Josh Allow, of Alpha Chi Rho. Josh is a Chemistry major from Brandon, VT. He serves as Chaplain, and Postulant Educator. Additionally, AXP traditionally runs the Greek Week penny wars, and Josh almost single-handedly counted all the money. Others helped, but Josh counted, rolled the change, and recorded all the money collected after each day of table-sitting. To further participate in the penny wars, Josh also made AXP's poster and table-sat for approximately five hours. Monica, a Biology major, and Jim, a Chemical Engineering major, both served as organizers of this year's Greek Week. One of Monica's sisters says, "Monica has done an absolutely phenomenal job with Greek Week." Another community member says of Jim, "He spent countless hours coordinating the Greek Week events and has a lot for which to be proud." Both Jim and Monica "put in countless hours to help organize and enact Greek Week." Thanks to the their "enthusiasm and excitement for being Greek [they] not only had a larger number of Greeks participate then usual but also had more of the WPI community participate as well." J.P., a Mechanical Engineering major, is according to one brother "probably the hardest worker in the Fraternity." He is the chairman of three committees (Scholarship, Recruitment, and Fundraising) and is active in other committees as well. Furthermore, J.P. is a newly appointed senator of SGA and is serving on two committees. With all this responsibility, it's even more amazing that he maintains one of the highest GPA's within the chapter. John Rogers, Alpha Chi Rho

John upholds the four Landmarks of the fraternity by having a strong moral compass and nonjudgmental mindset, He possesses a strong bond with his brothers, graduate and undergraduate. He understands the concept of "pulling his fair share" to benefit the chapter as a whole. As a Bio Tech major, John's MQP involves researching ways to rebuild damaged spinal tissue. Within the chapter, he is Parliamentarian. He also served as Greek Week chair last academic year when the chapter won second place. Later this year, John has been selected to serve as Postulant leader, where he will teach the new members the history and ideals of the fraternity. Outside of the chapter, he is captain of the varsity crew team. He and his teammates are currently organizing a clean-up of Lake Quinsigamond. He is also a member of The Skull, proof that the members of the WPI community feel he has contributed to the WPI community.
