Community Service Van
The WPI Community Service Center is glad to provide transportation for any students who would like to volunteer at local agencies and programs.
Hours
The WPI Community Service Center Van runs Monday through Friday from 8AM-5PM. Accommodations will be made for weekends as much as possible provided there is adequate time to find a driver before the date the van is needed. One week notice is typically requested for weekend events.
Agencies
The WPI Community Service Van provides transportation to many agencies within a 10-mile radius of the City of Worcester. Some agencies our van visits includes: Mustard Seed Catholic Worker, Friendly House, Ecotarium, Seven Hills Charter School and Umass Memorial Medical Group.The WPI Community Service Center Van is able to go to many other agencies in the area.
Requesting a Van
To request a van, simply fill out the Community Service Van Request Form online or print it out and bring it to the Community Service Center on the 3rd floor of the Campus Center. If the van is available, the driver will send you a confirmation e-mail. The pick up location will be in front of Harrington Auditorium.
