Girls' Night Out
A Program for Women Students
Girls Night Out (GNO) is a program of women-only social events. The events are planned by a committee of women: Elizabeth Arsenault, Rachel Berg, Carla Corbitt, Christine Keches, Kirsten Murphy, Lisa Novoson, Jenelle Pope, Amanda Tarbet, Rachel Berg and Michelle Tucker. There are currently two openings on the committee which will be filled by first year students. If you would like to join GNO please contact gno@wpi.edu.
GNO typically hosts an ice cream social during the first week of classes. This event, which includes board games and karaoke, is meant to welcome both returning and incoming students. Another traditional event is the Halloween-themed Women's Activities Fair. This event, co-sponsored by the Panhellenic Council, brings organizations such as the Society of Women Engineers, Women in Electrical and Computing Engineering, sororities, and other women-focused organizations and activities together for an informative good time. Come in costume! Other GNO events have included arts & crafts, ice skating, and more. For information on upcoming events please see the calendar page.
