Baccalaureate

Traditionally held the evening before Commencement, Baccalaureate was an opportunity for graduates to gather and reflect on their experiences at WPI. The ceremony, which started at 5:30 p.m. Friday, May 15, in Alden Memorial, featured inspirational messages and musical performances selected by the graduating class. Professor Jeanine Plummer, director of WPI's environmental engineering program,  gave the keynote address. Seating was limited for the program, which was open to graduates, family and friends, and the campus community. A reception followed at Forkey Commons located at the lower level of the Campus Center.
