Contributions are sought on topics encompassing all areas related to the conference theme: "Linking Lean Thinking to Education."
- Application of lean principles to education
- Lean-related case studies
- Innovative pedagogy relevant to lean curriculum
- Lean educational programs and courses
- Lean education of government and industry workforce
- Lean engineering, lean supply chain, and lean enterprise topics
- Voice of the customer
Presentation Details
Each speaker will be given 20 minutes for presentation and 10 minutes for discussion. By Oct. 1, speakers are required to contribute an electronic version of their talk (PowerPoint and PDF format) which can be posted on the LAI EdNet and the LEI LEAN Web sites and distributed to meeting attendees on a CD ROM.
Presentation Submission
Prospective speakers should submit a short abstract (150-200 words) by e-mail to leaned@wpi.edu by Aug. 23, 2006.
Abstracts will be reviewed by a group of EdNet and LEAN peers. Highest priority will be given to contributions that enable or stimulate sharing among academic network members. Lowest priority will be given to contributions that "advertise" existing or newly emerging programs.
