Second International Corporate/Academic Roundtable on Emerging Technologies

March 19 & 20, 2002, WPI Campus, Worcester, Mass.
Invitation from President Parrish
Dear Colleague:
It is my great pleasure to invite you to join us at Worcester
Polytechnic Institute (WPI) for the Second International
Corporate/Academic Roundtable on Emerging Technologies. This year's
theme, "Molecular Engineering - The Next Five Years" focuses on one of
the most promising and competitive frontiers in science and
engineering today.
The roundtable features a distinguished roster of corporate and
academic leaders, policy makers, researchers, industry analysts, and
senior executives from a cross-section of industries. Presenters will
examine from their own perspectives many of the exciting discoveries,
anticipated challenges and breakthroughs in this rapidly emerging
field. As an attendee, you will have the unique experience of
learning how this multi-disciplinary field will be shaping the world
around us. Ample time for discussion and networking with speakers and
presenters has been built into the conference schedule.
Centrally located in the heart of New England, the WPI campus is
convenient to major transportation centers in Boston, Hartford and
Providence, and provides an ideal setting for this forum. Conference
details, including on-line registration, travel and hotel
recommendations, as well as local area attractions, may be found on
this website.
Please register early in order to reserve your space for what
promises to be a most informative and memorable conference.
I look forward to welcoming you to WPI and to the Roundtable.
Sincerely yours,
Edward Alton Parrish
President
