NASA Senior Scientist and Astronaut Dr. Roger Crouch at WPI

On Friday, October 25 WPI will be hosting Dr. Roger Crouch, NASA's Senior Scientist for the International Space Station and Astronaut. WPI students, faculty and staff are invited to attend his special presentation: "NASA's Vision for the International Space Station." Dr. Crouch will speak about his experiences in space and will present the vision, challenges and opportunities NASA faces with the International Space Station. The presentation will be followed at 2:00 p.m. with an opportunity to meet this distinguished guest. He has agreed to bring photos for autographing. Don't miss this opportunity to learn about the cutting-edge science and engineering employed in NASA's ISP operations and research programs.

About Dr. Crouch

Dr. Crouch served as Program Scientist on five different Spacelab flights. He has logged over 471 hours in space serving as Payload Specialist on STS-83, the Microgravity Science Laboratory and STS-94, a reflight of the MSL-1. He trained as the Alternate Payload Specialist on STS-42 (First International Microgravity Laboratory) which flew in January 1992. Read more about Dr. Crouch.
