BiLaGa

First, we would like to thank Joshua Resnick for his interesting letter to the editor in last week's Tech News. As a result, BiLaGa's active attendance at the last meeting increased by about 200% as straight, bi, lesbian, and gay students met to discuss the strong presence of homophobia on this campus. We will be holding a social lunch meeting on Tuesday in Gompei's from 11:30AM-1PM and a business meeting Thursday evening at 8PM in the Wedge. We invite everyone, especially Mr. Resnick, to join us and find out what BiLaGa is really all about.

African Percussion and Dance Ensemble

A great big thanks to everyone who came out for our first practice this term! It was a lot of fun, and we hope you got something out of it. We have a few more activities in the works, which we'll soon have more information about. We encourage anyone, regardless of experience, to check us out. We provide the instruments, you provide the enthusiasm. Whether you are an experienced drummer, or have never touched an instrument, there's always a part to play! So come to a practice, and experience a unique approach to music and dancing. Practices are every Tuesday in the Lower Wedge, from 8:00 to 9:30.
