Friday - Nov. 3rd 2000

2:44 PM - Hazardous Condition: Report of smell of chlorine in the fire safety lab. After investigation, it was determined that the smell was from the pool and nothing was out of the ordinary


Saturday - Nov. 4th 2000

1:07 AM - Incapacitated Guest: Physician reports an intoxicated student laying on ground on Institute Rd., near the art museum. Officer reports that subject is not a student, but an alumnus

5:13 PM - Medical: A female fell and has a possible broken nose. She is being transported to Worcester Medical Center

7:22 PM - Aid Citizen: Minor MVA on corner of Park and Salisbury. No injuries

10:24 PM - Incapacitated Student: Intoxicated students found in Stoddard A

11:00 PM - Parking Complaint: Two non-student MVs parked on the street, blocking an entrance into the Theta Chi lot


Sunday - Nov. 5th 2000

12:34 AM - Disorderly Person: Officer observed subject on third floor of Sigma Pi arguing with girlfriend

2:23 AM - Incapacitated Guest: Report of a non-WPI student, in Daniels, incoherent. EMS requested

9:35 AM - Parking Complaint: Complainant called regarding a car parked in their spot. Officer responded and issued a warning to individual in reserved spot

11:05 PM - Lockout: Student locked keys in his trunk


Monday - Nov. 6th 2000

4:16 PM - Aid Citizen: Officer flagged down at Institute and Park for a minor MVA. Parties are all set and had already exchanged papers

6:30 PM - Aid Public Safety Agency: Student walked into station with facial injuries. Stated she was assaulted by four males, three white and one black, in Institute Park. Officers were deployed to search for suspects

8:04 PM - Trespass: Watchperson reports several men in Alumni Gym, who are not students. They were advised of trespassing and escorted out

9:14 PM - Suspicious Person: Several fraternity brothers reported seeing three suspicious males walking from Salisbury to the Gazebo. They were concerned after being told about earlier Assault and Battery incident. Officers advised all area fraternities to be on the look out for suspicious people


Tuesday - Nov. 7th 2000

2:14 AM - Suspicious Motor Vehicle: Officer observed vehicle being occupied two times in the past hour

6:00 PM - Trespass: Four youths, about 11 or 12 years old, ran away from an officer


Wednesday - Nov. 8th 2000

12:18 AM - Aid Public Safety Agency: WPI officers assisted Becker Officers with a disorderly call

4:12 AM - Disturbance: Person reports a group in the hallway of Stoddard B making a lot of noise and keeping him up. Officer checked hallway and found no one

3:32 PM - Parking Violation: Car is partially blocking loading dock at Washburn shops. Officer can access dock, but car is illegally parked

4:32 PM - Found Property: A pair of pants found in Goddard and placed on railing of Olin, because caller had to leave. Officer checked pants, found 3 non-WPI keys and no wallet

4:53 PM - Drug Violation: RA reports possible drug activity in Stoddard B. Smoke is coming from window and floating up to the higher floors

7:25 PM - Suspicious Person: Student reports a male ripping parts off a bicycle and throwing them down the sewer grate at Founders lot. Officers checked out area and found nothing

7:28 PM - Found Property: Officer found license plate in Founders lot

7:55 PM - Suspicious Motor Vehicle: Officer was flagged down by a motorist, stating that another driver pointed a gun at him. Suspect turned onto WPI property, via West St. Worcester PD was notified and search was made. Suspect was not found.
