Wednesday - Nov. 29th 2000

12:39 AM - Aid Citizen: Officer observed vehicle with hood open, checked with party, and all set

3:25 AM - Aid Officer: WPI officers assisted WPD with attempting to locate suspect in a stolen car call. Officer observed a subject that fit the description and advised WPD of the info

4:22 PM - Hazardous Condition: Elevator stuck on basement level of Harrington Auditorium. Smell of burning wires

7:00 PM - Lost Property: Student lost keys, somewhere on campus

9:24 PM - Medical: Reports of a male on pool deck with hurt ankle


Thusday - Nov. 30th 2000

12:28 AM - Suspicious Person: Party reports that there is an intruder in Theta Chi, twice tonight. WPI officer came by and talked to the people at the fraternity

7:25 AM - Suspicious Person: Custodian in Higgins Labs saw a female putting leaflets on chairs in a classroom

11:51 PM - Disturbance: Reports of someone using a remote control car outside and keeping people awake. Officer spoke with students, and they brought it inside


Friday - Dec. 1st 2000

9:45 AM - Suspicious Person: Suspicious person reported on the 1st floor lobby of Founders. Officer escorted party out of the building

11:11 AM - Found Property: Keys found in Salisbury

12:00 PM - Parking Complaint: Complaint about vehicle parked on grass.

5:26 PM - Maintenance Service Request: Report of dishwasher with only cold water. Plumber will come in


Saturday - Dec. 2nd 2000

12:06 AM - Medical: Party reports a student has fallen and broken his ankle. Ambulance requested and patient transported to UMASS Memorial Hospital

12:46 AM - Alarm: RA in Institute reports a battery operated fire alarm is going off. RA states that there is no fire or smoke. Officer checks out alarm, notes that it is dusty, and disables alarm. Officer requests that alarm be replaced

1:04 AM - Loud Music: Reports of loud music in Fuller Apartments. Officer advised and dispersed the party

9:56 AM - Policing Activity: An officer talked to brothers of a fraternity about inevitable combination of hazing and handcuffs

1:16 PM - Larceny: Two students allegedly pushed past a Chartwells employee, who was trying to stop them from stealing

7:32 PM - Parking Violation: Three vehicles are blocking the loading dock of Alden and need to be moved


Sunday - Dec. 3rd 2000

12:58 AM - MV Stop: Vehicle stopped for speeding on the Quad

1:28 AM - Suspicious Motor Vehicle: Suspicious vehicle roaming area, on West St

4:08 AM - Suspicious Person: The RA reports a strange man in the hall, in Riley, wandering around. He has a paper-bag with unknown contents and RA wants him removed. Officer found him. He was visiting other residents

4:51 AM - Suspicious Motor Vehicle: Suspicious vehicle has been coming and going in front of Daniels all night. Officer believes it is a delivery boy

9:00 AM - Maintenance Service Request: Emergency call box outside of Gordon Library is malfunctioning. Officer confirms that it is malfunctioning. Whenever the ON button is pressed, the Campus Police emergency call line is activated. Plant services has been contacted

4:51 PM - Community Policing Activity: Officer gave some ice to a parent so he could help his son with his ankle injury

11:01 PM - Hazardous Condition: Watchperson reports elevator is out of service in Harrington Auditorium. Work-order placed

11:40 PM - Community Policing Activity: Officer met with RA in Founders, to inform him to check for doors propped open


Monday - Dec. 4th 2000

3:29 AM - Disturbance: Officer out with two parties in the Founders Lot. Parties from the fraternity were screaming obscenities

10:27 AM - Towed Vehicle: Call for towing vehicle with 11 outstanding citations. Vehicle parked on West St. heading wrong way

5:30 PM - Assist Citizen: Citizen calling from Riley Hall, and requests assistance with her vehicle. The battery on her alarm transceiver died and she can't find a manual disarm. Officer tries to open car, but can't find a manual disarm, either. Citizen will go home and bring a new controller tomorrow

8:05 PM - Medical: Person has twisted his ankle in Alumni Gym
