Worcester Project Center begins work

Last term, students completed the first set of projects at the Worcester Community Project Center. The focus of the new center is to do work that will help the Worcester community. These projects will be publicly presented when the center is officially opened on Monday, January 22.

Martin Luther King Day

"He is the greatest leader in liberation of racial discrimination. He contributed a lot to this movement; without his effort, millions of people would still be suffering from unfair treatment. He also gave us the idea of equality for all races and nationalities. He let us know everybody has some dignity and rights regardless of his/her race or anything else."

"Spanning from the Student Government Association to the campus ministry groups, members of BiLaGA are very much a part of WPI and many identify as heterosexual. Thus, we do not appreciate being merely written off as the 'gay club.'"

Bad News in Sports

"WPI has a male-to-female ratio of approximately 5:1. So can someone please explain to me how such a small pool of girls has managed to win 7 games overall this season, while all the men's teams have only scraped together 5?
