Police chase one of their own cars through Worcester

Worcester, Mass.-A man stole a police cruiser from the city's main police station Friday and led a chase through the city before he was stopped and arrested at a local hospital.
Police declined to identify the man or say what charges he faced. He was a patient at UMass Memorial Medical Center, where the chase ended after he allegedly took the car from Worcester to Shrewsbury and back to Worcester Friday afternoon.
There were no injuries and the chase did not involve excessive speed, said Worcester police Sgt. Paul Ohman. Ohman said it was unclear what prompted the man to steal the car.
