Newman Club

Welcome back everyone. Our Newman officers are meeting today, Tuesday, Jan.16th to set up an agenda for tomorrow night's meeting of our Executive Board. That meeting will take place at 9:00 PM in the Religious Center. Holy Hour will take place at 8:30PM. We will be consider such items as our annual retreat, a return trip to Wright's Chicken Farm, Appalachia in Worcester Project, Video and Pasta Nights, plus several other matters. Watch next week's edition of Tech News for dates and places of C Term events.

Our Christmas Giving Tree Project under the direction of Jason Fields was a tremendous success. We are grateful for the 76 students who gave gifts to the youngsters at Youville House. Jason delivered all the gifts on Tuesday night, December 19th. We also we had a great turnout at our Christmas Mass on December 17th and at the reception following the Mass.

Phi Kappa Theta

On December 16, 2000 Phi Kappa Theta held a Christmas party for twenty children. Nick Macsata thought that this would be a great event to help the community we live in. The children were from the Friendly House, an organization in Worcester that gives underprivileged families assistance. Our houses were decorated for the occasion and Jeremy Labbe was dressed as Santa Claus. All of the children received several gifts and had fun all day long.

BiLaGA

The first meeting of C-term went very well. We discussed a lot of things, from our recent mail to MTV. We are still planning for our film festival, which will take place in Riley Commons on March 28th. We are also getting geared up for the National Day of Silence, which is April 4th. We will be having a social lunch meeting this Tuesday in Gompei's from 11am-1pm as well as our weekly business meeting on Thursday at 8pm. If you have any ideas or suggestions or would like more information, contact us at bilaga@wpi.edu.

Christian Bible Fellowship

Welcome back! I hope you all had a great Christmas break. God sent his son Jesus to die on the cross to pay for our sins! For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. If you'd like to learn more about our Lord Jesus Christ or meet some other people who love Jesus, then check out the Christian Bible Fellowship. We have two regular weekly meetings. The first is Tuesday Night Prayer (9:30pm, Founders 204). The other is Friday Night Fellowship (7:00, Lower Wedge). I encourage anyone who is interested to attend
