In the Defense of Burger King

by Robin Wood
General Manager, The Grille

After reading the last issue of Tech News, I felt that as the Manager of The Grille it was my responsibility to respond to a comment made by a professor at WPI. When asked what he thought about the new Mexican concept in the Grille his response was "I prefer the Mexican food. I used to work at Burger King and I know what goes on behind the counter."

I just want to assure the WPI community that nothing goes on behind the Counter. We serve quality food. Burger King corp. sends Mystery Shoppers to the location once a month and scores us on Quality, Speed of Service, and Cleanliness to ensure the highest quality standards.

I also want to apologize for the inconvenience. The Campus Center will open with a New Updated version of Burger King, and the $0.99 Whopper will be back. Thank you to all of our customers that frequent The Grille.
