Thursday - Dec. 7th 2000

12:20 PM - Trespass: Credit card vendors trespassing at Morgan Hall

1:05 PM - Suspicious Person: Male stopping students in Gordon Library Parking Lot, and bothering them about credit card applications

3:45 PM - Aid Public Safety Agency: Caller at Gompei's Restaurant stated she hit a parked vehicle and wants to see an officer. She was referred to WPD and said she would call then later, because she had an appointment and could not wait

4:07 PM - Person Escort: Student with broken leg requesting transportation from AK to Stoddard

4:38 PM - Disabled Motor Vehicle: Officer noticed a disabled vehicle at Highland and Park and notified WPD to respond. Elderly lady, with the disabled vehicle, had been waiting for two hours. Her car was towed and officer gave her a ride home


Friday - Dec. 8th 2000

12:41 AM - Aid Officer: Fitchburg State College Police Officer requests assistance with locating a student that has been accused of harassment. Officer and dispatch unable to make affiliation with WPI

1:32 AM - Disturbance: Male party reports a group of students making a lot of noise and causing trouble in Riley Commons. Officers found a group of students there and advised students to break it up and clean up

2:08 AM - Aid Citizen: Dispatch received two calls reporting a fight seen at a fraternity. When officers arrived, the fight was over and the victim chose not to press charges

2:40 AM - Suspicious Motor Vehicle: Officer observed five people sitting in a vehicle, parked on the side of Institute Rd. Officers checked in out and discovered they were waiting for a female from Daniels Hall

8:33 AM - Animal Complaint: Dog in lobby of Olin Hall

11:02 PM - Trespass: Watchperson in Alumni Gym states that a group of people were advised to leave three times, but would not leave. The group was giving him a hard time, so he called WPI Police. By the time the officer arrived, the group had already left


Saturday - Dec. 9th 2000

12:31 AM - Medical: Party requests bandages from EMS, to bandage a jammed finger

2:43 AM - Indecent Exposure: The clerk at Honey Farms reports that a male college student was just in the store, naked. WPI officers had seen students leaving the Honey Farms area and head to 11 Boynton Street, but they were already clothed. WPI officer spoke with the fraternity's president, who will conduct an internal investigation.

3:07 AM - Malicious Mischief: WPI officer found a vehicle in Stoddard with its driver side window smashed. Nothing appears to be stolen

2:50 PM - Maintenance Service Request: Professor requested an adjustment of the heating system in Alden. The problem was the movement of a sash, which was a prop for a play near the ceiling. HVAC changed the rate of air flow to the lowest setting appropriate

4:46 PM - Person Escort: Caller stated he injured his hand, and is requesting an escort to campus, due to his injury


Sunday - Dec. 10th 2000

12:11 AM - Maintenance Service Request: RA reports that Institute Hall is without heat. HVAC called in and heating restored

12:45 AM - Motor Vehicle Accident: SNAP van reportedly backed into parked vehicle, incurring minor damage

2:00 AM - Aid Public Safety Agency: SNAP personnel reports a fire-truck parked outside of a fraternity. Officers investigate, but the vehicle is no longer there

1:08 PM - Maintenance Service Request: Reports of clogged toilet on second floor of Gordon Library. Toilet is full, but not overflowing. Plant Services advised to put an out-of-order sign on the stall door, and let the plumber fix it Monday

11:51 PM - Maintenance Service Request: Three residents are stuck in their room, in Morgan. They had their key tried from the outside and cannot get out. Officer was unable to gain access to the room. Locksmith called at 12:11 AM. Locksmith arrived and will install a new lock this evening


Monday - Dec. 11th 2000

12:36 AM - Medical: EMS requested for a 19 year old in Stoddard B, with flu like symptoms. He has been vomiting since yesterday

3:04 AM - Suspicious Motor Vehicle: Vehicle was pulling out of John Wing Rd. Officer spoke to the occupant, who stated he was turning around. Occupant claimed to be a student from Clark

4:32 AM - Disorderly Person: A group thought to be in a fight were just being disorderly. Group was engaged in horseplay, at a fraternity

10:38 AM - Malicious Mischief: Vehicle found in Stoddard with window smashed

6:45 PM - Malicious Mischief: Student reports that he parked his car in the Stoddard lot, and that his passenger side window was smashed. Nothing was stolen


Tuesday - Dec. 12th 2000

12:59 PM - Hazardous Condition: Plant services called about the copper ridge on the roof of Olin Hall coming off

8:00 PM - Parking Violation: Car parked in awkward place, in front of Higgins Labs Southwest doors. Officer attempted to contact the owner, without success. Citation issued
