Campus Center "a completed vision": Ribbon cutting begins Grand Opening celebration

The Campus Center was officially opened with the ribbon cutting Friday morning, 518 days after the groundbreaking ceremony began the construction process. Many people, including WPI administration, staff, students, and alumni gathered in the Odeum at 10:45 a.m. to dedicate the building.

Dean Kamen speaks at WPI, given medal

Dean Kamen spoke to the National Consortium for Specialized Schools of Mathematics, Science, and Technology on Friday, March 30. The convention was held from Thursday, March 29 to Saturday, March 31, to find fresh ways to use technology in education. As part of the event Friday night, Kamen was awarded WPI's inaugural Presidential Medal.

Dividing FLAUD: Plans call for Perreault Hall breakup

In addition to plans for a new parking garage, a new academic building, and renovations to Olin 107, WPI may soon be renovating Perreault Hall in Fuller Labs. These changes, which are still not finalized, would take place sometime in 2002.
