On April 2, the women's lacrosse team attained its first win for the season against Framingham State. Despite the previous weather conditions, which impaired the time for the team to practice, the WPI lacrosse team rose above and beat Framingham State 19-2. Overall the team played well together . Within the first few seconds, WPI scored its first goal. The following players scored at the game: Kim Morin -1,Gretchen Lofberger 2, Jen Burzycki - 2, Tiffany Howland -3, Erin Dupak -5, Julie McIlhenny- 3, Lisa Sasur -1, Courtney Estaphan -1, Laura Orlandi -1. Katie Knab, goalie, played a tremendous defensive game, a pleasant Birthday present for her (Happy belated Birthday Katie). The WPI women's lacrosse team is a must see sports event and is an example of WPI's outstanding athletes.
