Greek Corner

Alpha Chi Rho

It's C-Term, it's January, it's warm, it's all F%@*ed up! Those of you who were expecting to see two feet of snow upon arriving to Worcester, I have just one word for you: Duka

Why don't we get things started... I guess we'll start with over-break mayhem, which at least did not require intervention from city officials as is traditionally the case. Locking up the hardy-partier was Modderno, who was the first customer in Tammany Hall history to try and sleep on the bar, after a hard day of talking back to the bartender and a coke dealer. Lucky for him, the cavalry arrived just in time; and, since he was completely Gon-zo, he affectionately greeted his girlfriend with a big heave-ho.

Besides that, much fun was had when Sparky stopped by, and much fun was had by everyone present. Everyone except the TV room rug, of course...

Well, on a more serious side, it was great to see to Postulants come together as a group to get things accomplished; there truly is strength in numbers. Okay, I guess we'll get serious now. Really, though, you still need to take care of one little problem. Tony Oses: learn how to do a sea cow! Having all of that extra padding should make it a cinch, and I heard that you were frequently in that position with your G and Q boys back home.

In closing, I would like to say officially endorse Art for House Manager, who made using the first floor bathroom safe again! Til next week, remember, twenty dollars can buy many peanuts.

AGD

Welcome back Alpha Gams!! Everybody's new hair looks great! I'd like an actual count of people who got their wisdom teeth out over break...my estimate is 147. Well, for once, I have nothing to say. Amazing, eh? Actually, there are a few things...Happy Birthdays to Ange (15th) and Becky (16th)...and Ben Franklin (today!)!! Congratulations to Hollybeth who so recently graduated! Thank you to TKE for the great social last week...and...uh...that's it. See ya at the meeting tomorrow...A DOVELING

AGD PLEDGES - Hey girls! Happy New Year! Welcome back- I hope everyone had a great break. Thanks to all of the Secret Santa's. The Christmas formal was great- congrats to all of those who worked on it. Happy Birthday to Becky Hoffman on the 16th. Good luck in C-term. Keep up the psych!

ATO

Welcome back, boys. Let me see here, four brothers turn twenty one this weekend, namely Justin, Fatty, Swifty, and Teno. The question is, when they leave the house on Saturday night for the Main Street and Highland Street strips who will return standing? Gut moved out because he is in twelfth year at this school and his parents' bills are in the millions. Justin's beads. Enough said. Chad had an old acquaintance show up after the basketball game on Thursday night. Description: She's tall and goes to Worcester state. It's all right Chad, someday, someday pyscho chic will leave. Rad broke his finger and discovered that being ambidextrous will not hinder his performance in some of his favorite activities. Pledges, no mas. U know what has to be done. Do it. Beaton bought Madonna's new CD and won't ever stop listening to it. I loved working at Lechmere over Christmas break, for the obvious reasons.(!@#$ Pete)

FIJI

Welcome back. Since probation is now over a greek corner can now appear. It's time to have a party and I'm sure that everyone will be glad to hear that Simon can't go for the ugliest no more. Rice stay away from anybody that might need a carrot. OB take the goggles off. Now that 48's is gone it is too quiet. Driscoll welcome back. Prime Time only 6 more weeks until you get to go with Pedro and Puck. To Kayak, Ennis and Shannon you want me to give you some lessons on how to shoot. Congratulations to Cyr for another award, now get a real vcr. That's the sh_t I'm talking about.

In other news nothing has really happened because it is the first week of the term and I've only been here for three days.

TKE

Welcome back to this wonderful and joyous place that we call school everyone. I've got the C-term blues already. This week you will hear the roar of the Lion King and the preaching of the Raabi. The New Year's party was a success, lots of the old folks showed up. People gathered to see a big ball, that's why everyone watched the TV when Miah, Thomas, and Jay trotted through the party room. Everyone ask Heath why they call him the human sprinkler. All of you were partying while the Lion King was home fending off savage neighboring villagers and I was at harvesting the crop in that four letter state. A big thanks to all the of the AGD's that showed for the social last Tuesday making it an awesome time and the best social I've seen. Go Evan, and quit whining about never having a woman anymore. Keep an eye out, Tat will be featured in the next issue of "American Kickboxing" and Colby has announced his recent career change to become a traffic safety engineer. Fitz vows vengeance upon the WPI basketball team for destroying the Worcester State team, "Their balls will be mine!" he claims. Thanks also to Tuppy for hosting the officer's retreat again last weekend. Just a reminder this Tuesday, today, tonight, January 17, at 6:15 we have a dress-up spiffy meeting for the installation of the new officers. Just to clarify, Fitz wants their basketballs and nothing else. Also don't forget to find that special someone for the RCB coming up February 11 or at least donate someone to Mongeon. That's all for this week. C ya

Zeta Psi

Okay, welcome back everyone...Looks like we get another full year of every brothers favorite sport...Let's Try to Make All the Other Brothers Cry!!!! We had the Welcome Back party (personally I voted for the Well, it's time to get wasted again party) this weekend. Apparently when you become social, not only do you get the responsibilities but you also get to learn to talk like Jimmy, good luck Bob. Special welcome back to Nick Palmer who returned from a half year of playing video games and sitting on his butt and George Hanlan after a brief stay in the U.S. army, the sweetest smelling army in the world. So George, just where did you hide all the guns you stole?

We have a new kitchen, no more hard work to clean dishes now we can just have the pig do it. Ben's off in Thailand, so now we get to send Shawn to jail!!!

Congrats to all the new officers Ben (already ran away from the pressure), Shawn (already drinking heavily), Andy (still just plain Andy), Chris (time to learn how to write), Rossputz (I see you've thrown out the old ball and chain, I think I might have to borrow it), and Bill (never a better man for the job).

Well, here we go back into the fire...My thanks to the hockey gods...Signing Off-Jabba
