Beware of bogus bills

The Treasury Office recently accepted a $100 bill as payment on an account. The bank later determined that the money was counterfeit and WPI's account was charged. Because of this risk and a need to minimize the amount of cash in the office, change will no longer be given for $100 bills. Associate Treasurer Sylvia Cucinotta urges everyone in the WPI community to be aware of the potential risk when they deal with these large denominations.
