HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!! I hope that your V-Day is going really well!

CONGRATS TO ALL OUR NEW PLEDGES!!!! I hope you all have as much fun pledging as I did!! Don't worry if you're a little nervous, your big bros will help you through it!!

Well, Saturday we had our semi. I'm sure it went really well. I think we should all give Benny a standing-O for doing all this cool fellowship stuff!!!

Another standing-O has to go to Sarah for all these service projects!! Good job to both of you and to all the other officers as well!

Well, I guess that's about it for this week....

Chinese Student Association

Hiya guys (and gals, as usual). Hope everyone is doing fine with their classes so far and that you're all able to get out of your nice warm beds in the morning and go to class. At least you should all be able to get out of your boring dorm rooms and come to CSA activities and to IM games to cheer your teams on.

Anyway, the Chinese New Year party a while back went well...I'm sure our dearest advisor Roger had a good time giving out $$$ (though his wallet might have some objections). Hope everyone had a good time ...but don't think that's all for CSA this term...stay tuned for more stuff coming up.

Well...great big congrats go out to the 4 CSA Table Tennis teams that made the playoffs...CSA 2, mighty Frank & Prakash; CSA 3, awesome Foo & Hoang; CSA 4, unbelievable Quach & Brad; and finally, CSA 5, super-duper (also known as dumb-dumb on certain occasions) Antonio & Jack. Applause please...thank you. If you happen across any of these Table Tennis kings on campus, please slap them on the back. Besides TT, please also applause our Basketball and Bowling teams for working so hard and doing such a great job in the season so far. Keep up the good work, guys...and keep on going to the hoop and for the pins. Oh, and yeah...GO WATCH IM GAMES...GO CHEER YOUR TEAMS ON...and that's an order...please.

Ok, a couple more things.... The long awaited for newsletter, "The Dragon," should be coming out soon. It has been delayed once again by 'technician' difficulties, but should be under construction now. It is not too late to submit any articles/jokes/artwork/whatever you wish...just mail to (or even to if you wish)...simple. Ok, one last thing (for now anyway)...start thinking about what you want to do for the Cultural Fest in April. If you don't know what that is, don't worry...more stuff will be sent out about that later. Well then, take care. Later!

Christian Bible Fellowship

Well, this term has really been zooming by. I cannot believe the we have a little over two weeks left! We are looking forward to all the wonderful things that God has in store for us this week. Prayer and Share is a great time to praise and seek the Lord with others here on campus Wed at 7pm an Morgan A. THURSDAY is INTER-CAMPUS FELLOWSHIP!! We will be gathering in the lower wedge, that's right.. the LOWER WEDGE, at 7:37pm to have a wonderful time of fellowship and songs. Grab a bunch of friends and join us! For any of you who don't know, FNF is on Fri at 7pm also in Morgan A. This is a great time to be together and learn about the Lord through songs and the Bible. Bring a friend. Sports will be on Sat starting at 10:39am in front of Alumni Gym.

"This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." (Psalm 118:24 NIV) As school work becomes more and more as the term winds down, I have thought a lot about how I live my life and who I am living for. I know that school work is important to an extent, but there is so much more to life. God gave us life, and our life carries a very large price tag: Jesus Christ died for us to be able to experience all that God wants us to experience in life. If God went to so much trouble to bless us with the gift of life, why do we grumble when morning comes? Why do we rejoice when night has come and we can find a little rest, only to wake up grumbling again? Shouldn't we take on the simple attitude of children, always excited to get up in the morning and rejoice in living? Jesus can help you experience life more fully and freely, for this truly is a day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice in the blessings of today.

German Club

Guten Tag!

Thanks to all of you who showed up to the Stammtisch last Friday. Unfortunately, not enough people showed up in order to hold a fair election. Therefore, the election was postponed until this Friday, Feb 17, at the Stammtisch. If interested, it will be held at Gompei's from 12 to 1. This is an excellent way to improve your German or hear your native language. Hope to see you there. Tschus!

ISC

All right, this is going to be a short and sweet note...Firstly, I apologize for not writing last week and therefore not keeping all you people who are reading up to date. Secondly, I want to say that there is going to be another meeting this Wednesday at 4:30 and so you should all try to be there. It's going to be at Morgan C and all "member" groups of the ISC should try to have some representatives present. Finally, I want all of you to read Newspeak next week. I'll let everybody know the exact events that are going to be taking place for the rest of the year. Until then, be patient and don't forget about the meeting.

Take care and enjoy the weather.

Men's Glee Club

Ok, we're back! Wow, Malchiodi, what would you sell your parents for - beer? I mean you sold your sister for an answer. If I gave you a nickel, could I date all three? We had a good time sledding last weekend. I think Glenn lost parts of himself on the hill, though. Glenn, did you have a lobotomy as a child? Hey Gressley, I still think the Gompei's money should have your picture on it. Anyway, I hope everyone had fun at the Rathskellar this weekend. Don't forget, the Assassination Game starts this weekend. Kill your friends! Kill Keith! I hope this week's top ten list is not too offensive to anyone - except maybe Ian. Heh, heh.

Top 10 Reasons to Sing with Smith

10. They love us. 9. "Dyke Hunt" part two. 8. We're "fostering goodness" (oops, sorry, wrong school) 7. Babb really wants to. 6. We'd rather listen to Keith sing than talk. 5. We can finally figure out which Muppet Lucinda resembles. 4. So Ken can meet another "friend." 3. It's our first "one day stand." 2. Ian doesn't have a girlfriend coming out that weekend. 1. If at first you don't succeed. . .
