IV. President's Report: President Findlen reported that Executive Staff met that morning, the topic was the CDC changes. Also, there will be a slightly higher than usual increase in tuition and fees than in the past. This will not affect financial aid.
V. Secretary's Report: Secretary Butland reported that office hour attendance is good. She asked for written committee reports from the chairs.
VI. Treasurer's Report: Treasurer Socha reported that Appropriations will be meeting Wed. from 11am -12noon in Beckett.
VII. Committee Reports:
CSLI: Chair Guthrie reported that the committee met last night and discussed several issues. There will be a meeting on Monday, place TBA.
P.R.: Chair Lasovsky reported that the committee met today and discussed the success of the meeting with Pres. Brown which was held Monday. They also designed and made table tents advertising the SGA debate and flyers for the elections on Feb. 10-14.
P&P: Chair Snow reported that the committee will meet later this week. There are several Constitutional amendments looked at as well as the CSLI By laws.
-Institute Committees
CSA: Senator Connelly reported that the committee met on Wed. Feb 1, 1995. There will be an Advisors Workshop for all academic advisors on March 13. If anyone has any feedback associated with advising issues please get in touch with her (swathy@wpi) or Kevin Shea (shea@wpi).
IX. New Business:
Motion11c.95-Secretary Butland moved that the Senate approve President Findlen's appointment of Lee Guthrie as the chair of CSLI. Senator Plack seconded. Motion passed.
-Senator Daly announced the Winter Carnival this weekend. Tell everyone to go and have fun.
-Senator Uchendu asked people to please sign up to work at the election table.
-Senator Snow announced the debate is Thursday at 6pm in the Lower Wedge.
