Ahh...Spring is finally here what better way to spend the day (and night) to play Softball (and Soccer) out-of-doors with your fellow CSA people. Of course, we must also occasionally troop indoors for some Floor Hockey as well...it's like...um...being balanced or something...yeah, that's right. Anyway, come one, come all...come to CSA intramural games!
Hmm...speaking of intramurals, the CSA Sports T-shirt is FINALLY done *hip-hip-hooray!*. It will be coming soon to a friendly neighborhood CSA meeting near you...as you all know, the design is great (and the price will be right), so start thinking now how many you want to order (5? 6?...nah...9 will be good).
Ok...several things to start thinking about.... There are some important things that will come up in the CSA meeting that is soon to be held.... The first thing is elections (yep, it's that time of the year again)...start thinking about running for something...or perhaps you know someone that's perfect for a particular office...this is your chance to get more involved in CSA and make things happen. Next up, the Cultural Festival is coming up very soon and we, as a whole, will have to do something. More details will follow in the meeting, but it's a good time to start thinking about what you'd like to do (or see CSA do) during the Cultural Festival...any suggestions are welcome. Last thing to think about (for now)...there is going to be a Member of the Year award going out to the (non-officer) CSA member that has 'done the most' for the club this past year. A gift certificate to the WPI Bookstore will be presented to the person by our dear advisor Roger at the meeting...so start thinking now.
Oh, and one last thing...don't forget to submit to "The Dragon" if you have something (and haven't done so already). Well then, take care. Toodles. Peace.
As we begin a new term, I would like to challenge each of us with a verse, "..encourage one another and build each other up.." (1Thessalonians 5:11 NIV) As the term wears on, classes may begin to discourage us. You may know someone who needs a friendly smile or a patient ear. If you do, I would encourage you to spend some time with them, either listening or perhaps sharing with them what the Lord has been doing in your life. As you step into this week, I would like to leave you with one thought.. How can you be a light of encouragement to those you talk with everyday?
