Medical City display in library

"Medical City, A Silent Passing," will be on display at Gordon Library through April 16. Photographer Peter Faulkner has recorded the change of character in the neighborhood that will be the site of Worcester's new Medical City complex. "Once a vital area that was home to many warehouses, retail businesses and social institutions, these city blocks have been permanently changed first through neglect, then through the wrecking ball," says Faulkner, who has taught photography at the Worcester Center for Crafts since 1979. The exhibit is funded in part by the Worcester Cultural Commission/Massachusetts Cultural Council.
