Passport Films presents "Farewell, My Concubine"

The film "Farewell, My Concubine" will be shown on Friday, April 7 at 7:00 pm in Perreault Hall. The film is brought to WPI as part of the Passport Films series. Admission is $1 with a WPI ID and $3 for the general public.

Co-winner of the 1993 Cannes Film Festival prize for Best Film, "Farewell, My Concubine" brings together some of the most stellar figures of Chinese, Hong Kong, and Taiwanese cinemas to combine the themes of passion, politics, and betrayal in a panoramic tale spanning more than 50 years and set against the dramatic backdrop and colorful world of the Peking Opera. Originally banned, then approved by Chinese censors. English Subtitles.
