Umoja / Unidad

The Office of Minority Student Affairs, in conjunction with the Black Student Union, the Hispanic Student Association, the National Association of Black Engineers, and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, will host the first Umoja/Unidad experience from April 12 through April 14 at WPI. The sponsors have invited all admitted underrepresented students of color to attend the Closer Look program and to remain on campus for this new, three-day, ovrenight program. Umoja/Unidad participants will live in the residence halls, attend classes with their host students, tour the city, and learn about support services available from the offices of Minority Student Affairs, Academic Advising, Financial Aid, and Student Activities.
