New faces join administration

Michelle K. Carroll is WPI's new associate director of admissions. Carroll earned a B.S. in mass communication with a concentration in public relations at Boston University. She was previously associate director of admissions at Lasell College.

Andrea J. Dorow was recently appointed assistant director for student activities. Dorow earned a bachelor of science degree in psychology and a master of science in college student personnel at Western Illinois University. She was director of fraternity and sorority affairs at Colgate University and coordinator of programs at Boston University before coming to WPI this spring. In her new post she is responsible for coordinating all aspects of Greek life at WPI.

Norman D. Wilkinson of has been named director of graduate management programs. Wilkinson received a B.A. in political science from the University of Maine at Orono, an M.A. in political science from Syracuse University, and a J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law. He is a member of the American, Connecticut and Massachusetts Bar Associations and was a solo practitioner in Unionville, Conn., from 1992 to 1994. Before accepting the WPI appointment, Wilkinson was assistant director of graduate admissions at the Boston University School of Management. He replaces Lisa Jernberg, who was promoted to director of graduate marketing and enrollment.
