MQP Lab Safety Training

One of the many responsibilities which any organization has is to assure that all activities are conducted safely and that risks are minimized. To meet these ends, the Office of the Provost and the Campus Safety Committee recommend to each faculty member who is advising an MQP utilizing hazardous chemicals to urge their students to attend a forty-five minute introduction to laboratory safety. Dave Messier, Environmental Health & Safety Officer, will be conducting three sessions before the end of A-term. They will be held: 
October 3   11:00am    GH 227
October 4    1:30pm    SL 104
October 5    4:30pm    HL 218
If you are working on your MQP, and use hazardous chemicals, please choose one of these sessions which fits your schedule. We encourage your participation!
