WPI finishes 'a strong third' in ACM contest

Congratulations are in order for WPI's Association of Computing Machinery's Programming Contest team for a very strong third-place showing in the championship round on Nov. 18.

Computer Science undergraduate students Thomas Seidenberg and Michael Lepore and graduate student David Spencer represented WPI at the contest at Westfield State College, where they turned in WPI's best-ever showing. Michael Gennert, associate professor of computer science, is the advisor to ACM's WPI student chapter.
