Nominations still being accepted for Outstanding Teaching Award
The Trustee's Outstanding Teaching Award Committee is soliciting nominations for the 1995-96 award. Nominees must be full-time faculty members actively engaged in the education of WPI students during the 1995-96 academic year; they may not have previously won the award. Forms have been sent to faculty, alumni and students. Nomination deadline is Dec. 15. Each nominator is required to explain why his or her candidate is an outstanding classroom teacher, project advisor, academic advisor or colleague. Citing specific examples of a nominee's talents is a valuable way to support general statements.
Faculty who have received the award include Raymond R. Hagglund, Frank D. Defalco, Thomas Keil, Allen Hoffman, James Pavlik, David Cyganski, John Zeugner, Richard Sisson, Andreas Alexandrou, Richard F. Vaz and James S. Demetry.
