WPI graduate named president of New England electric subsidiary

Westborough, Mass. - New England Electric System (NEES), the second largest utility in New England, announces the following key organizational changes; John F. Malley, Vice President of Generation Marketing for the NEES subsidiary New England Power Company, will assume additional responsibilities as President of Narragansett Energy Resources Company, another NEES subsidiary. The change is effective December 31, 1995.

Malley has held his current position since 1992, where he has been responsible for the managing of power sales and purchases, and the development of integrated resource planning. His previous positions at NEES include Manager of Generation Planning (1986-1991), Power Supply Planning (1981-1986) and Engineering (1971-1980).

Malley is a registered Professional Engineer in Massachusetts and a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers. He holds a BSEE and a MBA from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), and a MSEE from the University of Wisconsin.
